Overall the food at Zorbaz has always been good, expect long lines and wait times especially during holidays. We went over Memorial Day this year and the waitress was extremely rude. I ordered a drink and gave her my drivers license, she scrutinized it and claimed it was fake. We enjoyed a great pizza on the patio overlooking the water which was very pretty. I would definitely go back.
I recently went to Zorbaz with my family on a trip to Minnesota. It can get packed quickly and the pizza wait was an hour and a half, plus the line was out the door. I think more seating could help or more staff since there was such a wait for one pizza. The food is amazing though and the staff are fun to talk to, we got a half order of nachos, a perzonal pepperoni and a 16” Pesto pizza, all were amazing and tasted great.
Ok so the location is great, Ottertail lake, boat access, easy to find, everyone knows about you and feels the need to buy a new Zorbaz shirt every year. However over the years (been coming every year since 2001) the service this year stood out as REALLY BAD- servers used to be fun, outgoing and kind. Now they seem put out and bothered, or just plain unhappy to be there. I have also noticed over the years a BIG deterioration in cleanliness. Everything seems dirtier inside and out. Don 't get me wrong pizza is alright, they have a creative menu with the cute z thing going on, but for the prices they charge I just think food is ok. They do have many different choices of pizza and salads, a few pasta dishes and some Mexican items. So your bound to find something to eat. It is tasty and it does offer something different than your typical bar food. Drinks are again overpriced, but come in cute cups and you might get a bobber with some of their speciality drinks. I hope the management can be excited about having this place and not just see it as the Cash cow it is, but actually put some better effort into it. Your lake clients deserve a place that is excited to serve them.
No trip to the Ottertail County area is complete for us without a night at Zorbaz! The food is outstanding, the employees are very energetic, and the setting is beautiful for an evening meal.
The place is a dump, but that kinda makes it fun. Packed every weekend because of the food. Everyone is there for the same reason, to enjoy the lake. This is not the place you want to bring people to on a business lunch. But if you want to drink beer and eat burritos, then look no further. This is your place!
