You can normally judge a good Chinese restaurant by the special fried rice. If this is the case then never again here. Tried it for the first time and it was terrible. Contained only finely chopped egg and ham with a scattering of shallots and prawns in 99% rice. Very bland with no chicken, BBQ pork peas etc. Never again. Picture says 1000 words View all feedback.

Good food clean and well-kept restaurant with a warm welcome and reasonably quick service. relaxed atmosphere and complimentary snack prior to ordering your meal. Tasty food and generous serving at moderately priced rates. Take away as well as table serving.
Visiting Bathurst and noticed the lunchtime special sign outside Chef Li Restaurant had the Satay Chicken and Fried Rice very nice with excellent friendly service.
Chinese, cooked with a lighter touch. Delicate flavours and not so much of the ''in your face'' heavy flavours of many Aussie Chinese Restaurants. A little more authentic. We are locals - this is our Chinese restaurant of choice in this city.
We're visitors from Sydney and our friends, who are local, took is to what was in their opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Bathurst.The service was friendly and the waitstaff helpful, but the food itself was infortunately westernised and too sweet. It was as if we'd walked back in time to the Chinese restaurants my parents took me to in the 1960s. Maybe my taste buds have become accustomed to the profusion of authentic ethnic food available in Sydney, but I was a tad disappointed that this positive trend had not yet reached over the mountains.
Nice food and friendly staffthe place is always clean and they are always happy to see you.Food is good and offers a good range of chinese dishes.We had a birthday party there and they were more than happy to add a couple of extra tables for some unexpected guests.Good value

We haven't had Chinese food this good in a long time. The sweet and sour sauce was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. 5 out of 5 stars.

We haven't been to the Great Wall for quite some time going there on Saturday night didn't disappoint. The food itself hasn't changed in thirty plus years, chicken chow mein packed with chicken, sweet sour pork the same. Once we can eat in the restaurant, we'll be back with our family.
