Our group of four enjoyed two sharing plates at this restaurant, which included rib eye steak, sirloin steak, and filet steak served with onion rings and chips. We can confidently say that this was the best steak we've had in a long time. The dishes were well-prepared and the quality was top-notch. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about The Herd Steak:
Bit of a disappointment unfortunately. Expensive for what it is and on top they add a 10% service charge without asking. Given the location I suppose they survive by luring in tourists. There are better options further into town View all feedback.
Josh and Leah were very attentive and took care of our needs. We were a table of 5 and despite food being abit delayed, it was all worth it. However, it would have been nice if there was some garnish as it was abit empty. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+

One of the best rib eye steaks I have ever had. I had it medium and just melted in your mouth. Taste was first class and accompaniments of mushrooms, onion rings and double cooked chips were all cooked perfectly. It wasn’t that busy when we were there admittedly but the service was very attentive and food was cooked and served quickly. Will definitely be looking to go back again. Service: Dine in

So I am not a huge steak eater but I do on occasion since my fiancée enjoys it. We gave Herd a try and I knew we had to go back even on this short trip. Lovely restaurant with outstanding food, and amazing service. Karl and Josh took care of us both visits and were fantastic. The steak and sides are amazing. Best restaurant in Bath.
