The restaurant was stunning! The staff truly stood out; everyone was friendly and eager to engage in conversation, including the manager. They remembered each of us personally, and nothing was too much trouble. We felt like royalty! Thank you!
I absolutely love this place in Bath! For my birthday, we enjoyed afternoon tea with champagne in the beautiful gardens. It was a perfect day. Thank you!
While in Bath for a short break, we came across the Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa and discovered the Dower House Restaurant during our walk through the charming hidden gardens. We made a spontaneous reservation and came for afternoon tea today. First and foremost, the service was outstanding personal, attentive, and the utmost professionalism. Our dietary requirements were seamlessly and courteously attended to. We were showered with delicious sandwiches, scones, Bath buns, and seasonal cakes, in unctuous portions. The tea selection was delightful; my favourite was the Darjeeling Summer. I liked the offer of a cup of coffee by the waiter who attended to us for most of our time there, when we asked to pay; the perfect remedy to our correctly diagnosed post prandial somnolence. I must say, it turned out to be the nicest afternoon tea experience I have ever had. We will certainly be back when next holidaying in Bath!
