The food at Thai House is truly remarkable—freshly prepared, hot, and bursting with flavor. I kicked off my meal with a squid appetizer that was incredibly tender and satisfying. For the main course, I opted for the roast duck curry, which was fantastic and featured an intriguing ingredient that really enhanced the sauce. See if you can figure out what it is! (Here's a hint: it’s not in the red or green curry). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I had a pleasant experience at Thai House; however, while the food was enjoyable, it doesn't quite reach the level of freshness found in Thailand, though that's a tough standard to meet. It’s a lovely addition to the Oldfield Park community, but it seems to be aiming for a more upscale dining experience with prices that are above average for the area. They do have a 10% discount for takeout and 15% off for students, but overall, it still feels a bit pricey compared to other Thai restaurants and takeout places in the Bristol-Bath area, especially given the rental costs in Oldfield Park. It's definitely worth checking out, but maybe not for frequent visits. I also appreciated the good service.
