Disappointing meal for a restaurant that looks great inside and has a good atmosphere. The food was far too garlicky, it repeated on us for days. They had run out of goats cheese mouse for the salads and aubergine. The Albondigas were very overcooked. Such a shame.
Filthy stained fabric on the seats, key things like olives/meatballs chorizo not available at 6pm, overpriced bland food, 12.5% service charge automatically included in the bill. The only good thing was the excellent service from the waitress who was on her own due to staff sickness.
Our visit was about 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Having been greeted and seated we waited patiently once we had decided what to order for a member of the team to come over. No one looked over to see if we needed anything. It was not that busy and there were plenty of staff. They chatted to one and other and cleared tables. After what felt like an uncomfortable time someone came to clear the table next to us so I took the opportunity to ask if we could please have our order taken. Order placed we sat in a freezing draught from the front door that was constantly being left half open. The waitress then returned and informed us one of the items we wanted was not available. Not a massive problem but it was a vegan option and they were limited as it was. The beers arrived but they were not the ones we asked for and when we asked for them to be changed the waiter said 'no problem ' and disappeared. After another period of nothing happening we made the decision to leave. We let the guy behind the bar know we were going and we then went to another tapas bar. Please see my other reviews to find out how that went.
Absolutely awful! Slow service, poor menu choice, dirty tables and glass needed to be changed. Ordered the half chicken which was supposed to be marinated in a secret blend of garlic and herbs, the secret is out…there’s no garlic or herbs!!! Mine was supposed to come with salad…a bowl of lettuce!!! Seriously, there was nothing else in the bowl!!! The toilets were disgusting, dirty and broken, and they have the cheek to add a service charge to the bill which is already a rip off!

Delicious tapas- in particular, I recommend the calamari and patatas bravas. The traditional sangria was also gorgeous!
Empty cold restaurant on a Saturday evening should really have warned us off. Gents toilets truly appalling, which set tone for the meal. Food very average and lacking in plate appeal. Staff appeared embarrassed to serve it and no attempt made to check how the meal was received. Only saving grace was the large gin. Do not go.
Food was very overpriced and cold. Very poor atmosphere, staff weren’t too friendly either. Very disappointed.
Food very average and terribly overpriced for what it was. The only half decent tapas item was the prawns. Didn’t feel very ‘Spanish’ at all. The restaurant itself was too bright not a very good dining atmosphere. They were missing several food and drink items from the menu and staff were very indifferent. We were automatically charged £27 for service which we weren’t given time to discuss with our friends as I wouldn’t have paid that for some food to be plonked down and wine to be spilt down my glass every time it was poured. Won’t be going back.

We decided to dine here on a cold Thursday afternoon approx 12:30pm. we opted for the lunch menu as we thought it was a good deal (2 course for £15.95) most of us got the padron peppers and the steak and fries, it came out in a timely manner and was very delicious. our waitress ellie was really attentive, quickly asking how food was and asking if we wanted anymore drinks, and then clearing plates almost instantly after we had finished and offered desserts and coffees which we didn’t go for. all in all a very good lunch time meal will be back!
After being seated and given menus, we asked if there were any heaters as it was very cold inside the restaurant. We were told the heating was broken, we decided that we might warm up once we got some hot food drinks. We don’t live in the area and had made the journey especially as we’d eaten here twice before. The food was good but got cold quickly as both the serving dishes and air temp was very cold. We ate quickly and asked for the bill. The waitress wasn’t very sympathetic on leaving we saw rugs on chairs near the door, which we could have been offered, or maybe they could have offered a free hot drink? We were very disappointed with our visit and found another eatery to have our dessert coffee. Such a shame as previously it had been very good.
The starters were great, one was cold and sent back but the Paella was an oven ready meal and was disgusting, dried up, wierd tasting. Not fresh at all so avoid
Avoid at all costs! I have never complained about food but this was inedible, we left without hungry eating the food and paying. Other people around us were also complaining about service and food which didn’t help the atmosphere. The restaurant was cold and service was awful, it took us 15 mins to get our bottle of wine which they then couldn’t open.

Unbelievable food. Tried the Paella and we were definitely not disappointed (as shown on the photo). The food was amazing. We had patatas bravas (for dying), aubergine (delicious), chicken wing (incredible) and the paella Valenciana (from this world).
I was there yesterday afternoon at 3:00 and had a great time. We were served by a beautiful waitress (I think she was the manager) who was really attentive and friendly. The food was cooked quite expensive and very tasty for perfection. Everything really came out fast, no complaints. Overall great staff, food and atmosphere. Would you visit again, thank you.
I had never tried Spanish cuisine in my life. My partner suggested we go to this place for dinner. He beat the tempura prawns and the much famous chicken and chorizo Paella. Traditional Sangria was like my drink and ended with Churros. It was from the world and we swallowed the whole thing (Paella serves two). The girl that served us was called Shy. She was very polite and smiling. The restaurant was less on staff, but she (Shy) was very much composed and took orders from each table, managed the cleaning of tables and any other work very well. She was helped by the bartender (depending on his constant alcohol orders) which I found very remarkable, as it became difficult during the peak season. I'll visit this place next time I come to Bath. Shy, 5 stars for your hospitality
I enjoyed the food very much. The staff was very friendly and if I came back to Bath, I would definitely recommend this place
We loved this place so much. Inspirational tapas. We came away with so much enthusiasm for trying some stuff ourselves. The crispy aubergine was amazing. If you’re a vegetarian missing meet this tastes pretty much like pork belly. Had an amazing sauce. The actual pork belly we had was covered in a beautiful green and spicy sauce and we had a shaing board of meat and cheeses. The sobrasada was amazing and the fresh tomato dip was just so fresh. The staff were friendly and it was nice to be able to sit outside.
