Corkage in Bath is an intimate, plant-dressed wine bar known for an adventurous, encyclopedic wine list and staff who curate thoughtful pairings. Menus favor generous small plates to share — inventive vegetarian and seafood dishes, creative desserts, and tapas-style influences — served in cosy mezzanine and terrace seating with natural light. A tapas style italian eaterie with really easy vibes. Goats cheese ice cream and polenta cake should not work, but it so does here. I have always been disappointed by scallops. Here, they were buttery juicy and loved, a reason to go pescatarian? Absolutely. Do not get me started on the beef dish (it did not make it to picture taking it was that good!! . Cod flaky, tender pork, arrinchin... nothing on here was 'just ok ' The wine and champagne were fabulous, but our host may have been responsible for that additional delight. I live 100 of miles away from here. I will find many reasons to come back.... Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Decided to try Corkage on a recommendation from our hotel where we stayed nearby. The place is lovely and cosy and the welcoming staff was attentive and went to great lengths to explain the concept. The food is all smaller dishes and they come out randomly and we were then to share whatever was served. Which was fine, but the food wasn't fantastic. I guess as a winebar the food will always we secondary, but it was not to out taste. For the price I would have expected more... it wasnt cheap. The wine was amazing as one would expect. We were sat indoors and every time staff or guests walked past our chairs and table would wobble quite a lot. It was not pleasant to sit and bounce up and down every two minutes I must admit. I am not sure we will be back for seconds unfortunately. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £90–100

We came here for my birthday dinner and we were incredibly impressed. Neither of us drink but my partner and I ordered a bunch of vegetarian dishes and we were absolutely blown away. Would recommend this place to anyone. The service and the ambience were also just 5 stars!

What a gem! The wines, food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic—I had a wonderful time. We met some friends in Bath and made a reservation in advance. We had looked over the menu beforehand and were excited for our visit, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy exploring new and unique wines, along with sharing small plates of food. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable as well. We loved all the wine pairings they suggested for our dishes and desserts.
