Comptoir is one of my favorite restaurants in Bath. Having visited Beirut frequently, I can say that Comptoir's food is authentic, fresh, and incredibly tasty. It reminds me so much of Lebanon. When my parents visited Bath, I took them to Comptoir. My Dad, who used to fly in and out of Beirut and eat there all the time, was very impressed by the food. This is a fantastic endorsement for the delicious taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine. We are lucky to live nearby and can enjoy dining there regularly. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is always fresh, clean, and lively. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with a warm greeting and a vibrant ambiance that transports you to a different world. I highly recommend trying Comptoir - you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant did not meet the usual standards we have experienced at other locations of this chain, such as in Oxford and London, where the service and food were exceptional.
