I made a reservation for a birthday celebration, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed, despite a sign on the door indicating they should have been open. I wasn’t contacted to inform me about the cancellation of my booking, and my calls went unanswered. As a result, I was left without a reservation on my sister’s birthday, which was extremely disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to dining here. They need to either update their opening hours or improve their online booking system to prevent this from happening in the future.

We had a reservation for a table for 7 on Saturday evening, but upon arriving at the restaurant, we were informed that they weren’t serving food! The waitress explained that they are renovating the menu and the kitchen will reopen in a few weeks or months. No one had informed us about this, so here we are at 7 PM on a busy Saturday in Bath without any dinner options. This is extremely poor service.

Food is a problem Lamb chops were not lamb chops (steaks I would guess), sirloin steaks were overcooked, one sent back, and they insist on using slate plates not much good with juicy food, both my wife and son had juices dripped on their trousers while serving. To be fair, they gave us a couple of rounds of drinks for free, but you just don’t need to get those things wrong.
