**Dining Delights: A Taste of Passage to India and Café du Globe** For those in search of an extraordinary dining experience, both Passage to India in Edinburgh and Café du Globe in Bath offer exceptional cuisine paired with inviting atmospheres. Passage to India impresses with its prompt service and delicious, authentic dishes, perfect for patrons on a tight schedule. Meanwhile, Café du Globe captivates with its warm ambiance and authentic Moroccan flavors. Although occasionally understaffed, the attentive service enhances the dining experience, especially when enjoying flavorful tagines and delightful meze platters. Both venues are highly recommended for a satisfying meal, whether for a pre-show bite or a leisurely gathering.
Welcome very warm, and plenty of help with menu. Mixed starters good, and mixed meat skewer good, but slightly different from menu. Fish on a skewer not in fact on a skewer, and a bit mixed in quality, but including (we think) some good sea bass. Dessert very sweet. Big flavours, and a very varied menu. Worth a go.
Great food, friendly service do try the Moroccan wine a really enjoyable surprise. Definitely worth a return visit.
I visited Passage to India in Edinburgh with my partner before attending a show at the Playhouse. We were really impressed by how quickly the staff greeted us and took our order as soon as we arrived. The food arrived promptly and was outstanding. We enjoyed two courses each along with a few drinks, and we were finished within an hour and a half, which left us plenty of time to make it to the Playhouse. The restaurant was quite busy around 6 PM, so I recommend arriving early if you're short on time.
