A group of us booked a table here for the Bath v Bristol game and what a great time we had. It was a friendly fun atmosphere and quite busy but with a good selection of drinks and good pub food we all left full a little wobbly but with a big smile. View all feedback.

Friendly pub serving delicous food. I had the pork belly cooked perfectly and not too fatty. A bit of a treat but well worth it.
Really disappointing interior lacked any atmosphere and the real ales that are supposedly one of their assets according to the Web site were not available

However, others have praised the pub for its friendly atmosphere, good pub food, and affordable prices. The new landlord has garnered positive feedback for welcoming customers and offering tasty homemade dishes. The pub is popular among students and sports fans, with a great selection of drinks and a skittle alley in the back. Overall, while opinions on The Royal Oak vary, it remains a traditional gem in Bath's pub scene.
