What HDHT doesn't like about Avon Valley Railway Station Buffet:

read moreNestled beside the railway, this charming café offers a unique dining experience in a cozy carriage setting. While the friendly volunteer staff create a welcoming atmosphere, the menu presents some challenges, particularly for those with dietary restrictions. Recent reviews highlight inconsistency in food quality, with delicious offerings like fish and chips juxtaposed against disappointing grease-laden dishes. Despite minor service hiccups and ambiance issues, patrons appreciate the value and traditional fare, such as ham and egg, alongside tempting homemade cakes. Whether for a casual coffee or festive dinner, this café remains a beloved choice for those seeking a nostalgic experience.
