Very pricy for what we received. Probable would not go back. Quality of food just ok.

The friends with whom we were exploring Maine invested special care in finding the right places to dine, and in that exceptional neighborhood, Salt Pine Social was the standout. The menu was exciting, and the food (we couldn’t resist over-ordering a wide selection) was outstanding — fresh, delicious, and superbly presented. The place was comfortably full, with the buzz of a wonderfully laid-back, sophisticated and diverse crowd. One testimony to the drinks and wine is that the evening culminated in that rarest of happenings: my purchase of a shirt to commemorate the occasion. However, it’s not until something goes wrong that real character shows, so for me the over-the-topper was when they sent the credit card I forgot at the apparel counter to my home far away by registered mail. All-around wow. I encourage anyone who can to find a reason or make an excuse to get to Salt Pine Social and experience “life as it should be.”

Since they barely burn off the white wine, you are basically taking a spiked seafood shot by dipping your bread in the broth and eat it ;
