This is your typical microwave and canned corn beef hash diner. The food is good if you set your expectations here. We watched a gentlemen sit down and wait over 15 minutes before leaving without being served. The staff talked very rudely about him in front of other customers. The gentleman doing coffee refills saves this place from being rated any lower.
We arrived at 11:45 am on a rainy Sunday and the place was pretty busy. This is a seat yourself kind of a place and most tables have a quick turn. The waitress was very friendly and quickly took our order. We ordered a haddock sandwich (make sure to ask for lettuce and tomato otherwise it’s just the haddock and buns , a BLT, a grilled cheese, an SOS special (sausage over a biscuit, smothered in gravy, 2 eggs and home fries a lot of food! , and a haddock chowder (the chowder is more watery than creamy and more towards the bland taste
The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were very friendly! The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be returning!
