Got the one piece with a $3 upgrade for the poutine for a total of $15 which is very fair in this economy. The poutine was the best part. Great tasting fries that are a bit on the short side if you're picky like that. The gravy and curds were fantastic with the gravy being rich and deep in flavour while the curds were chunky, squeaky, and plentiful. I got two pieces of fish or maybe this is considered one and they cut it in half I'm not sure. The frying of the fish was well done, but the fish didn't have much of a flavour, although this was made up for by the poutine, the tartar sauce, and the vinegar based coleslaw which all pack flavour. My only gripe with my first experience here was the ordering set up. There are two windows one to order and one to pick up which is fine. I stood by the order window but can't see anyone as it's so high off the ground (or maybe I'm too short haha). I wish there were a bell or at least a sign so I know that I'm not making a mistake and standing in the wrong place. There were lots of parking on a cool October afternoon but I can see this place filling up with cars on a summer long weekend. The view is spectacular and there are picnic tables around.
