Best brisket and pork plate around! Their southwest egg rolls are different and way better than any others. Fried jalapeños, bottle caps, and cold beer to top it off. Can’t wait to come back and try their chicken wings. Live music tonight! View all feedback.
What ROSE MARY DA ROSA ALVES doesn't like about Fox Creek Bbq:
I use to LOVE their ribs but something has changed. Not sure if it’s new owners or just a new cook, but the ribs are now so dry and flavorless. They’re still tender fall off the bone, but incredibly dry and tasteless. Fox Creek BBQ is a fantastic intersection of food and friends for me. I’ve known the owner, Pat, for many years. He’s a great guy who is dedicated to bringing quality food and entertainment to our community. My favorite things are the chicken wings and the fried mushrooms. The wings are smoked, and from there you can choose naked, Sweet Baby Rays, or Buffalo sauce. There is no wrong answer here. It’s all good. My hubby‘s favorite is the brisket. He says he has eaten brisket all over the country, and this is the best. Tender, flavorful, just outstanding. We’ve never eaten anything we did not like there. And it’s great place to gather with friends for an evening of entertainment. There’s always something going on Friday Saturday nights at Fox Creek. Make plans to check it out soon! You won’t regret it!
Overall okay place for a cheap meal. Initially sat over by the window but was ok’d to move since their window seating is cold with ol fashioned single pane windows and it’s winter. Had the chicken sandwich with fries a salad. Salad came out after the food. Had to get waiters attention to get my drink brought to me which normally wouldn’t be a big deal if it’s a busy restaurant and they’re running all over but there was about 10 people in total in the store. Single man in my 20’s so most servers don’t think I’ll tip well and was catered to after two other parties came in and were seated and served. Got my soda after I got his attention. He comp’d my salad and apologized to me for the poor service. May have been an off night for him or something. Overall good prices for the food, nothing extraordinary just simple well made food.
I use to LOVE their ribs but something has changed. Not sure if it’s new owners or just a new cook, but the ribs are now so dry and flavorless. They’re still tender fall off the bone, but incredibly dry and tasteless. Makes me sad cause this place has always been one of my top two favorites and now, I could only stand to eat two ribs (drowning them in bbq sauce which I’ve never had to do because they were great even without sauce) and just threw the remainder of the slab away. My teen, who wants to eat nothing but meat, wouldn’t even take more than one bite.
Always enjoy their Southwest Egg Rolls and their chicken tenders. Always impeccably cooked!
The staff were sweet, the music was good. The place was about 85 degrees and so loud. The food was a one and honestly, if it would let me rate less, I would. Neither one of us could eat our meals. The steak had no seasoning at all and was impossible to chew. The potatoes were dorty and dry. I did eat most of my potato but the brisket that was in it was just pieces if flavorless fat. So for $75 dollars we ate half a salad and part of a potato. That was it. Very, very, very disappointed. Would not recommend. I'm sure some of their bbq is fine but beyond upset that our date night dinner was so disappointing and not to mention, sweaty! At least turn the air down!
