Food and service were great, as usual, but it was 92 degrees outside and there was no air conditioning inside. It was so hot and miserable. Took dessert to go. Call before you go to see if they will be running the air conditioning that day. View all feedback.
What Brent Hoppe doesn't like about TGI FRIDAYS - Batavia:
I had made a reservation on Open Table, but was informed that TGIF does not accept Open Table reservations. As a result, my reservation could not be confirmed to earn points. Additionally, it took a considerable amount of time to receive our food. View all feedback.
Extremely disappointed this time. Menu change, OK. Food presentation and taste terrible. Ordered appetizer combo. Never again unless it goes back to the way it was 4 months ago. Potato skins small dry and tasteless. No doubt frozen before heated with a modicum of cheese. Motzeralla smaller and tasteless. Boneless chicken dry. Sooo sad. And yes the price went up.
Empty restaurant for business lunch and yet put family with rowdy children right next to us. Waited 20 minutes after giving our credit cards for the bill for the waitress to return- making us late for work. Waitress had billed the wrong amounts on the cards so was fixing it, then forgot to take the cash for another bill, so had to wait 5 minutes longer. Manager came to explain we might see double bills and credits... but no apology or compensation.
Reserved a table for 7:30pm. Upon arrival at 7:28 we were told it’ll be about 20ish minutes. They obviously did not honor the reservation as we were seated on a first come first served basis. It was very noisy, the server was over worked and the food was not good. My wife and I will likely not go back as the overall experience was subpar at best. This is very disappointing because they used to have good food and a nice atmosphere.
Great place for a casual meal. Variety of selections and good quality.
Can we come in my dishes, please? Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. Great service and the cook put his foot in this court. It is not easy to create meal. I have this exact dish in different places for years and it is always soup and without a hint of Cajun. That night someone understood it right.
