Good home town family restaurant. Had picked out a different restaurant but on arrival at the hotel found out they were closed. Lady at front desk recommended Settlers. Glad she did, perfect place to enjoy some comfort food after traveling all day View all feedback.
What Tessa Tester doesn't like about Settler's Family:
High prices for not spectacular diner food. That was our assessment even before a member of our party was violently ill within two hours of lunch. Staff was lovely and it's obviously a loved local tradition, but today at least something was not right in the kitchen View all feedback.
The food here is amazing no matter what you order. The restaurant is always bustling, which is a sure sign of delicious food.
The food at this restaurant was mediocre and overpriced. Our opinion was formed even before one of our group became sick shortly after eating. The staff was friendly and it seems to be a popular spot for locals, but there may have been issues in the kitchen on the day of our visit.
I went to this restaurant for brunch and ordered the boneless wings with a Pepsi. The Pepsi was good, but I found the boneless wings to be too breaded. The sauce was tasty though. The atmosphere was average, nothing outstanding. The waitress was friendly, but she disappeared halfway through my meal and never returned.
The food was excellent, the restaurant was very clean, and the waitress was energetic and happy.
Back in the day, Red Barn was a fantastic restaurant known for its delicious burgers and fries, even before McDonald's became popular. Carroll's was also a beloved dining spot for many.
