Oak Swine - Batavia
Oak Swine
Description
Located in a lively spot with an appealing vibe, this BBQ restaurant offers creative cocktails, a broad drink menu, smoky wings, excellent sauces and standout burnt ends. While many praise the flavor and bar service, experiences are mixed: brisket can be overly salty or tough, buns dry, portions small, and prices high. Service and host procedures are sometimes inconsistent, causing long waits or inattentive servers. Recommended for sauce and cocktail fans, but temper expectations on brisket, portion size and service.

The best!!! Great BBQ, great drinks, great atmosphere, and most of all, great staff!!!
Don’t shoot me, just being honest. My wife and i were really looking forward to trying this place. Great location and has an awesome vibe but….. the brisket was the saltiest brisket we have ever had. It was gross. There BBQ sauces are good though. Hopefully they are better then what we experiences but it was certainly a waste of money. Sorry :
So apparently I’m not welcome at this establishment. I walked in today at 6 behind a group of 3. Server came up to them asked them how many and seated them right away. Next person came up to me and asked “can I help you?” I said yes I was hoping for a table for 2. My friend had not come yet but showed up seconds after I walked out. I walked out because I was told an hour plus wait.A group of 2 and a group of 4 walked in as I was meeting my friend and they never came out. I called later and asked if reservations were taken and they said no. So I asked for an explanation of what happened to me. They said he groups were meeting people, which if that was true fine, but there was an empty table outside that I was never offered. Not sure what happened here but I guess I didn’t even deserve an explanation let alone an apology.
Yelp keeps prompting me to review this restaurant, even though I've never actually visited it. So, here you go, Yelp... one fake review. Hopefully, this will stop the notifications about this place!
