Reviews - Dimples Donuts
Reviews summary
A popular local doughnut shop draws praise for standout flavors—especially blueberry, buttermilk and signature varieties—good coffee, generous portions and family-friendly seating, with birthday boxes and a welcoming interior. However, experiences vary: customers note inconsistent freshness and warmth, occasional greasy aftertastes, burned or stale pastries, and uneven service. Affordable prices and wide flavor selection keep patrons coming, but quality and service can be hit-or-miss, so expect great treats at times and inconsistency at others.
Was Mike A at Dimples Donuts a mag?
I was sad to see the nearby Naperville location relocate, but will travel to Batavia for this one. It’s that good. The blueberry donuts are simply delectable and the folks who run this place are very nice and accommodating. The coffee is pretty top notch too! View all feedback.
What Junior S dislikes about Dimples Donuts:
Not a fan, the crossiant was dry and stale. The bacon was burnt and greasy. They yell fresh hot donuts when you walk in but nothing was hot. Everything left a bitter after taste and paste in your mouth. The crossiant was the worst. If that 's all they had then they should have offered something else. I won 't be back. View all feedback.

I absolutely love their donuts! My dad used to visit this place as well, which makes it even more special to me.
I decided to visit based on the recommendations I saw on Facebook. Perhaps my expectations were set a little too high. The donuts were decent, but the staff member I encountered—who may not have been the owner—seemed a bit indifferent and wasn't very friendly. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return.
I've seen many positive comments about this place on Facebook groups, so I decided to give it a try for the first time today. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined by terrible customer service. The staff member on duty had a noticeable attitude right from the moment I walked in. When I placed my order and mentioned that was all I wanted as she was packing it up, she rolled her eyes at me! Sadly, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this place unless they hire new employees.

A hidden gem in the neighborhood! I love that we can head over in our pajamas on a relaxed weekend morning to grab some fresh donuts. My favorites are the blueberry, old-fashioned, and sprinkle donuts. My kids are big fans of the bear claws, long johns, and of course, the extra donut holes that she always gives us as a bonus.
Nice little family donut shop, just donuts, breakfast and regular coffee, no Cold Brew, which ok and not over priced.
Every single donut has a grease after taste. My husband and I went there because they were the only place that sold buttermilk donuts we could find. When we went to get a dozen buttermilk donuts we were told rudely NO! We could only get 3. So we forced ourselves to try the other donuts. The better donuts were the cake and the buttermilk but the basic donuts aren't good at all. You will also notice the place looked very very run down. I would not go back at all!
Good donuts but not much of a selection. If you are there after about 930am not much left. Better to order ahead.

I was disappointed to see that the nearby location has closed in Naperville, but I'm willing to travel to Batavia for it. That’s a good sign! The blueberry donuts are absolutely delicious, and the staff here are really friendly and accommodating. Plus, the coffee is exceptional!
I've been visiting Dimples since the 1990s, and their donuts are fantastic. You absolutely need to try their apple fritters – they're unlike any you've ever had!
I think that this is by far the best place around for donuts. The owner is a very nice woman and the donuts are always fresh. I recommend that you stop in and get an old fashioned.
