Reviews - Boiling Point
Reviews summary
Nestled in Bastrop, Louisiana, this small takeout seafood restaurant has garnered mixed reviews. While some patrons praise the shrimp as exceptional—cooked to perfection with wonderful flavor—others express disappointment with the crawfish, citing issues with taste and texture. Accessibility is noted for its flat surfaces, though the gravel lot poses challenges for those with mobility concerns. The atmosphere is lively, particularly during dinner with live music, adding to the experience. Despite inconsistent seafood quality, many diners express a desire to return, appreciating the potential for a delightful culinary tradition at this local eatery.

What Justin Garnett dislikes about Boiling Point:
Small quiet to go resturant in Bastrop louisiana crawfish didn't get soaked long enough in my opinion didn't soak up enough of the seasoning. The shrimp were really delicious tho. Parking: 12 ish it's a gravel parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: It is all flat surfaced but you may get a little beat up going through the gravel in a wheel chair. It is very accessible though View all feedback.

Wow! The ambiance and atmosphere were outstanding! The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was impeccable! I will definitely be returning often! Five stars!
Had supper from there this week and it was so good that even my husband commented we were going to start eating from there regularly. Lol Little does he know the kids and I have every time he goes to his camp. The pork ribeyes are the best I’ve ever had. I honestly thought it was a beef ribeye. Guys loved their shrimp plates too.

I would rate this restaurant with zero stars if that were an option. The crawfish were the worst I've ever encountered. They were mushy and had a taste that almost resembled spoilage, indicating they might have been dead before cooking. I couldn't bring myself to eat them. It was a total waste and a huge disappointment. I will never dine here again.
