L'amiral - Bastia

We had passed this brasserie on Friday which had been a noisy karaoke night, but now it was peaceful and we were hungry. We were welcomed in by the friendly owner with 2 other tables occupied. Our choices were salad Bastiase and escolope Milanaise both of which were good. Then followed 2 good coupe de glaces. The meal was finished with complimentary plum liquers. We had Ricard aperatifves and a half carafe of Corsican wine for a total bill of 52 euros. This was good value for money with a choice of indoor or outside dining.

Handy for the Port but the food only average. Tendency to overcook the food. TV a bit to loud and intrusive when you're eating. Service OK and prices reasonable, but don't expect too much.

Service qui laisse à désirer. Aucun sourire. Nous n'avons pas eu d'eau à table. Repas correct mais surgelé... seul point positif pratique avant de prendre le bateau.

Locale vicino al porto, in due abbiamo preso due cheesburger, due crepes, due birre e un'acqua naturale, 45 euro il conto, quindi nella media. La mia ragazza ha provato ad ordinare una frittura solo di calamari ma le han detto che non era possibile (quindi congelati). Buoni come quantità e anche di gusto gli hamburger.

Restaurant qui mériterait de passer à "cauchemar en cuisine". Une horreur, des patrons pas accueillants, des pâtes à la forestière qui baignent dans l'huile, une salade au chèvre chaud qui fait pitié dans l' assiette. Cher pour la quantité. Des toilettes sans poignets aux portes et qui coupent l' envie de faire pipi. Bref amis voyageurs passaient votre chemin et ne vous faites pas avoir par l'emplacement qui est à proximité du port.
