What terrible customer service doesn't like about Shun Xing:
I ordered sweet and sour chicken. When they bought out for the they have me white rice. I immediately took it back askedfor fried rice, they said I would have to pay $3. Also the cashier was insane, trying to write on a piece of paper a pen in his teeth, and then having him sel the pen while we're liking over the menu. View all feedback.

The food was delicious, but I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and was disappointed to find only five shrimp in it! It was mostly plain rice and onions, lacking the usual ingredients you'd expect in fried rice, and there was no egg either. Overall, it felt like a letdown and not worth the price. On top of that, the person at the register was quite rude. I won't be ordering from here again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30.
I used to frequent Shun Xing on Brookdale Street in Martinsville. However, when I learned that the owners were on vacation, I decided to try the Shun Xing in Bassett. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t as good, but what really shocked me was the price difference. The same dish that costs $8.95 in Martinsville was priced at $13.95 in Bassett. Both restaurants used the same size containers. This was my first and last visit to the Bassett location. I'm not sure if they raised prices because the other location was closed for vacation, but I won't be returning.

We ordered general TSO chicken and it was sweet like sesame chicken. Also got bourbon chicken and it was fried never had fried bourbon chicken before. The bourbon chicken had no flavor. We called back about our issues and the guy was hateful and had attitude. Would not do anything to correct the issues said he didn't know why was calling to complain. Won't be going back I will take my business else where!! Food: 2
