My only criticism is that the food menu doesn’t have many options to choose from, but it’s more pub than restaurant so that’s not a surprise at all. It’s my go to place when in the top of town

There is occasio... read more Visited here a few times for drinks and the atmosphere has always been good. Great selection of spirits available, including lots of gins/rums. There is occasionally live music on a Friday or Saturday night, or they tend to show the sport of a major tournament is on most recently the rugby! (we won't talk about that game... Prices are what you'd expect from most pubs, so not overly expensive/cheap. There is an additional area upstairs that you can request to book of you're having a work event or just a large group of you turning up. Have never had a problem here. If the drinks prices mean you can't spend your whole evening here, there's always the Wetherspoons next door to get a few cheap rounds in.
