Unfortunately, I have no intention of returning as the service was poor and the food was not impressive. It's a shame because the exterior of the pub looks charming.

We had not been near the place since August 2015 when a rare, family... read more The Jekyll Hyde had advertised that they were under new ownership so we booked lunch there. We had not been near the place since August 2015 when a rare, family get together had been spoiled by poor service. The lunch was for my partner and I to celebrate my Birthday so I was taking a risk. When I booked I didn’t advise it was a special occasion. I am delighted we took the risk as we had a three course meal (starters of Tiger Prawns and Whitebait both delicious which was very tasty and were served by friendly and professional staff. The new owner came over to speak to us which was appreciated. We will be returning as we feel this place is now in capable hands :
