This was our first time visiting Bishopswood and it certainly won't be our last. We had a group reservation for Sunday dinner and truly enjoyed our experience. Becky was lovely to deal with when making the reservation, and she greeted us upon arrival along with a young man who seemed new. We felt very welcomed, and the food was excellent and plentiful, with everyone enjoying their meals. The service was impeccable and timely, and the atmosphere was pleasant with no loud music, just a warm welcome from the locals. The prices for drinks and food were very reasonable. We're looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the terrace. We highly recommend this restaurant!
I wanted to have lunch for the people to celebrate our golden wedding day. we were looking for local restaurants and saw an ad for the sands restaurant in the bishopswood golf club in tadley. we have contacted and met the managerin jennie. Jennie...was most helpful and gave us the choice of three menus to show that these were only choices, the others were made and open to change and showed us a wide range of options. we decided on the menu and the number of guests. we returned to see that with our menu choice and agreed the table layout, later we have given the names of the guests and their choices from the menu and our seat plan. when we arrived the day, the waiters knew the sitting position for each guest and the choice of the menu. the service was very licked, the waiters were very pleasant and helpful without floating. the food was excellently cooked and presented with very generous portions. the service we received, and the quality of food made our golden high-time jubilee. I recommend the sands restaurant well made jennie and they all work with
I recently visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch. It was disappointing to see that there was only one other table occupied, as the food and service we received deserved more customers. The dining room, which also has a covered balcony with tables and chairs for al fresco dining in warmer weather, overlooks the golf course and offers a beautiful, open view. The waitress was efficient and charming. Our orders were taken in the bar while we enjoyed drinks, and we were promptly seated when our food was ready. The tables and seating were nicely arranged, comfortable, and everything appeared clean and well-maintained. Our starters were beautifully presented and could easily rival those of a more high-end, expensive restaurant. My pan-fried fish main course was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The Sunday roast meals that my companions had also looked appetizing, with generous portions. The desserts were equally impressive; the cheesecake I had was light and not overly sweet. At just a little over per person, including two rounds of drinks, including wine, this represents excellent value for money. This restaurant would be a great choice for a special occasion or dinner party.
