Basildon Pitsea Extra Cafe
Basildon Pitsea Extra Cafe
Description
Nestled conveniently for shoppers, this café presents a cozy ambiance but consistently falls short in service efficiency and cleanliness. Diners frequently endure long waits—often upwards of 40 minutes—even during quieter hours. Staff appear overwhelmed, with dirty tables left unattended and limited drinkware available. While some menu items, like paninis and burgers, disappoint due to dryness and lack of variety, the quality of certain dishes shines through. Despite the promise of flavorful meals, the overall experience is marred by slow service and a disheveled environment. Improvements in staffing and cleanliness are essential for a more satisfying visit.

The full English breakfast at this restaurant is delicious and the staff is excellent.
This coffee shop is both convenient and cozy. The staff is friendly and I typically only stop by for an espresso, which gets the job done in giving me my caffeine fix. The food doesn't look very appealing, as items like breakfast options are left under heat lamps.
The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and welcoming to families with children. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable.
Very slow service, stood in a queue for 25 minutes, tables were very dirty with crumbs, sauce and hairs. Sat waiting at the table for another 50 minutes for our food whilst continuously seeing food sent back to the kitchen. Had no choice but to eat here as already paid the money. Rude and unwelcoming staff.
