**Unexpected Gems: A Dive into Local Chinese Dining**
Nestled in a small town, a Chinese restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. Diners rave about the fresh, flavorful ginger beef and crispy egg rolls, praising them as standout dishes that rival offerings in larger cities. However, several reviews highlight concerns about portion sizes and pricing, suggesting that while the food can be delightful, it may not always be worth the cost. Service is generally lauded, providing a welcoming feel despite the restaurant's modest ambiance. For those craving authentic Chinese cuisine, this eatery remains a cherished option, even amid some inconsistencies.

What a wonderful small town restaurant, the meal was fresh, hot and delish and service excellent. Bashaw has a winner here! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20
My daughters have never ate so good! Soup, starter, and meal affordable family dining.
Lovely couple serving old school Chinese food. Some may not pick this place to eat as the outside/inside looks a bit run down (especially compared to the spruced up Bashaw Eats next door), but this restaurant is a definite asset to the town. I agree with other posters that the ginger beef is yummy, and that's even comparing to my many options to choose from in Vancouver. Food: 4
