Very friendly service. Spicy, freshly cooked food, and I particularly found the Sri Lankan specialties very exciting. An insider tip in Kleinbasel.
Worst food i ever had, wouldn't spend a penny for such a disastrous food. should close down this hotel very soon. very costly and rude waitress, when asked for what's there in an item we ordered, she replied, she don't know and walked away, such irresponsible person

It has the charm of a small town station restaurant. Dying plants besides indian statues illuminated by neon light. The friendly service and the good food helps little to improve this atmosphere.
This place is highly underrated. It has great South Indian food. The Masala Dosas are amazing and very cheap.
My husband and I popped in her for a tasty Indian after seeing a couple of decent Google reviews never again. The service was friendly, but that was the only decent thing about the place. Frankly I have no idea how it is still open. We ordered 1 lamb and 1 chicken dish and both were served with meat which had clearly been thrown into a pre made sauce at the last minute. No taste, no spice, no fresh herbs, just bland, gelatinous slime. Rice was lukewarm and clearly not fresh, and the Naan was ok. A basic meal for 2 with main only, 1 beer and a 2 bottles of water came to CHF 80 so not cheap. My husband tried to pay for the meal with his Lunch Checks card and was told they don 't accept this. He then point to the sign on the door and by the till that said they did and suddenly the waitress 'remembered ' that they do accept Lunch Checks. A dreadful meal and a total waste of money. Avoid.
We ordered takeaway from here for the first time. It was fresh and the whole family loved their meals. The price was good especially for Basel. Once the Covid crisis is over we are planning to sit in.

Authentic kitchen at a fair price. eat with love. I recommend this place definitiw. a late lunch at 1 o'clock and there is no quantity. best service. not known as it is on a quiet side street. do not miss the great appetizers and sweetbirayni.
I like coming here often, the owner is kind and the food is incredibly delicious. I recommend it fully, especially 'Kottu Roti ' (and make is spicy ; . The good thing is also that there are vegetarian options
Was visiting the basel and had about 2 hrs wait to catch the next train. Found this place providing Indian food and especially Dosa which I wanted to try. So took a tram 1 and travelled about 5 stops to reach this place. The exploration didn't disappoint me. Ambience is good. Dosa, vada and filter coffee I had was awesome. The experience of taking order in familier language jn foreign country is reall excitement. The bill came around 45chf but that's worth the money. I recommend this place. Food consumed Masala Dosa, Coriander Dosa, Medha vada South Indian coffee
