The bar is run by a strictly looking Swiss woman, but once you get to know her, she is a good fun and has a good sense of humor. Has a good selection of spirits and aperitifs on the show, and not such a great selection of beer, really only the local stuff. I ordered a large glass of brick yard, a beer from Liestal directly on the street of Basel. It was okay, actually, I had about three of them. Not strong and went well. One of my favorite bars in the city, small and cozy and really a great place to relax after a hard day.

It feels like stepping into a cozy yet lively living room. Whether catching art in the art box or soaking in the chatter of a multigenerational crowd, this place is loaded with community warmth.
