It does not give a good impression from the outside but it is actually a nice option in the area. The staff is courteous and it is very nice and pleasant to sit outside. The flammencouche was good (but the price was in line with the rest of Basel). View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Prego:
Once we waited 1 hours for 2 Pizzas and both were burned. There were not a lot of people. Another time we also waited very long (45-50 minutes for 4 people) but the food was OKAY. All over all because you can go to Restaurant Resslyritti on the other side of the street and they have high class food and Pizza for nearly the same price. I will not go to Kaffi Sandwich again. The bald man who works here brought an extra drink never requested, and he yelled at me in Italian when I didn 't accept the extra drink. I got stack drinking a beer in the sun with a crazy bald man that didn 't let us use the tables in the shadow because it 's only for people who eats as well (nobody is eating, probably cause the food is bad as well, but I 'll never know cause never ever coming back).
Tarte flambée was delicious. The service was very friendly and organized. Unfortunately on a busy road.
A delicious lunch with my husband (focaccia and toast with eggplant and zucchini) directly at Wettsteinplatz. Waitress was very attentive and friendly.
Great pizza and super friendly Italian pizzaiolo. The whole family ate dinner n enjoyed an espresso.
Best comfort food with a cat. Super friendly and extremely fast service!
