First of all, please note that I am rating delivery only. I ordered chicked burrito and unfortunately, the quality was very poor the chicken was burned and the black beans were non existent. I definitely don't recommend ordering food from Mexis. I threw away 80% of it :
The tacos are super tasty and so is the ground beef burrito! Really recommended!
I ate the best guacamole of my life there! I can recommend everything on the menu there! Everything is freshly prepared!? If you love Latin American food you should definitely stop by there!?
Cozy atmosphere and great food. The burritos are very tasty and cleverly created. Finally a great Mexican in Basel. I would happily recommend it.
We arrived at the time of our reservation (made online though) and the server warned us that he would need some time because he got overrun (whatever that means). We just warned him that we would need to leave in 1h15 time, but he said it should work out. After 45min he hadn 't take our order yet (even though there is only one menu each day with only few options this day was burrito. We paid for our beers (not Mexican beer and not very good) and left. He did apologize and even let us pay with the cash we had left (which didn 't completely to the owed amount), but we would still have preferred to get a clear warning that 1h15 would probably not be enough to order and eat. The place is not the one from the picture, it looks like the average old swiss bar. It also smelled like burnt meat from the kitchen at some point. There was only burrito pico de gallo on the menu this day (which could be made vegan or vegetarian), I wonder if it would have been tasty, but I 'm fairly certain that we wouldn 't have gotten authentic Mexican cuisine (for starters: burrito is not a common Mexican food apart from the northern states).

The guy who works here, is scaring me. I didn't say hello loud enough and he got mad at me and said I was rude. it makes me sad because I love to eat Mexicans and only go here if the guy doesn't work, but he also seems like him in the worst mood and makes me uncomfortable. food was good, but I was also slightly nervous. also he did not wear masks

Good Mexican cuisine cooked with delicious ingredients. the type in the load was super nice. the only thing is that it is quite expensive.
