The steak was excellent! I ordered the pepper-crusted fillet, cooked rare, and it was fantastic. The loaded baked potato was tasty as well, but the green beans really stood out and were absolutely delicious. The service was good, although the waitstaff seemed a bit inexperienced. Overall, it's a charming little spot! View all feedback.
This place appears to be above average for Bartlesville. Our group tried several items. Chicken fry smaller one. The guy eating it said it was pretty good. It was very large so their 1 lb one mus be gigantic. Burgers were good. The. BBQ one reminded me a lot of goldies BBQ burger (in stillwater, Bville one is horrible). Wides bacon burger was good too. Worst part was patties seem pre made/packaged which just never seem as good to us.
Drift on in for some good grub, pardner.. Tumbleweeds is in the location formerly housing Bogart's, then Outlaws Crab Shack, then some other place that I can't remember…It's a great spot for a restaurant and a nice setup inside (with a bar area for the evenings), so I'm not sure why it keeps changing. Anyway, the place is operated by the guy who ran Bogart's and the food (and pricing) is similar. The lunch menu consisted of a variety of options for 5.99, sandwiches, and everything you see in my associated photos was at that price. We started with fried zucchini served with a house made ranch, which was an excellent starter. The breading was light and crispy and the ranch was a cut above. Main courses included a good Indian taco, a solid chicken fried steak (it didn't look hand breaded, but it was quite tasty), outstanding chicken fingers, a good club, a philly and a ruben, both of which were good if a bit on the salty side. Sides included good, crispy fries (it's a miracle, someone actually served us crispy fries) and perfect sweet potato fries. There were a variety of wonderful looking desserts in the nearby case, but we were too full to go for them. Service was good, plentiful drink refills and our food was brought in plenty of time to allow us to relax and enjoy our lunch. Nice place. Tried this place for the first time with several friends. The service was great, and the food was as well. so far I have been told the chicken fried steak, stuffed steak, and pork chops are good. I personally tried the tumbleweed sampler which was delicious, then followed it with the porterhouse which was the best steak I have had at a restaurant. I will visit this place again.
Tumble weeds steakhouse. The restaurant is clean and lively. Very nice place. I had the Peach tea which was amazing. Our waitress was amazing. I got the fried cod with scalloped corn green beans. My hubby got blackened blue cheese burger with fries. For Dessert we got the amazing Pear Bread pudding which was to die for. The portions are so large and the fried cod was absolutely amazing. Man you must get the scalloped corn. It is like a cornbread corn casserole and man was it amazing. Tasted a bite of my husbands burger and man was it’s extremely juicy and the white sauce on top tasted so great together. My husband said the burger was absolutely amazing and the best he has ever had. The pear bread pudding was super sweet, rich and amazing. Although I could only eat 2 bites it is definitely worth getting. We had a waitress name Jamie. MaKe sure y’all ask for her when you go. She was absolutely amazing. Always there before we needed anything and such a sweet girl.
The steaks were cooked to perfection and the flavor was excellent. It is rather expensive so don't expect to go in and not be prepared to put out some bucks. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get a terrific steak, nice decor good wait staff.
