I had never heard of this restaurant before. We discovered it on Google after the sushi place near us closed for the night. What a fantastic find! It was the best sushi I've ever had. The staff were friendly and the food was prepared quickly. I assume they recently reopened their dining room after being closed during the pandemic. A great spot! I'll definitely be back soon! Honestly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had recently. I ordered 2 sushi rolls and a Hibachi Steak Lunch. The sushi rolls were poorly made, with muddy rice and fish that was not fresh. The steak I ordered medium rare was overcooked and tough. Save your money, this place is extremely overpriced. I wish I could return my order and get a refund. I hate wasting food, but I couldn't even eat it. The onl... View all feedback.
Only gave two stars because the food is actually amazing. When I go to restaurants I always take in consideration if this restaurant is family friendly or not I have two children under 5).The answer? NOT. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE TAKING YOUR KIDS. They make you feel very uncomfortable and don't even want to bother with you. They seem like they are annoyed with children. Service sucked every time I've ever gone. I only went back for the food. I've gone here 3 times with my kids and every time I've been they have been so rude to me and my kids. The waitress saw me with my 1 year old on my lap struggling and didn't even offer me a high chair I had to ask. When I asked she seemed annoyed. Also, when I first sat down she walked directly to the table in back that got there after me of me and asked if they wanted anything to drink. Completely ignored me and my kids. I almost walked out after I ordered my drinks but I'm not that person... so disappointed.
Their quality of fish is just levels above everything in the area. It's really the only place that's on par with Boston's sushi. The Omakase is a must get. Most local sushi places don't even offer one, and if they do it's just run of the mill and basic. Here they really elevate it.
Fresh small sushi place. has a few tables inside and great for the recording. fresh sushi and sashimi
This place is huge. the sushi rice is always perfectly executed, the fish is always incredibly fresh. best sushi in rhode island.
Put gluten in my food. We told them I had celiac and that it was important and my food was contaminated. I couldn’t eat it and it was expensive and the lady on the phone thought it was funny for some reason. Allergic reactions are serious business! A celiac reaction can last for months and be painful and cause a loss of nutrients and stuff so it’s serious. It was expensive too!
