Now let me start with I should have known better. It's pretty obvious from the onset you are not in for a culinary treat. Yet I still went ahead and placed an order as I was in a bit of a jam. Sketchy Chinese places don't scare me off as the food can actually be alright. Pretty easy equation frozen food from Cisco, fry it up in msg in a high powered wok put some sauce on it and ten minutes later after some self reflection on life decisions that got you to this point you are on your way. But general Tao must be rolling over in his grave. The secret sauce to the bowl is they microwave the food. Not sure if the trafficking business slowed due to covid but a microwave?? You need to trust your gut with this place if not it will make you pay. I have no idea how this place is still in business

I echo the sentiments of others who have written about the fact that what the restaurant lacks in ambience, it makes up for by delivering straight up, American style, Chinese takeout. The food looks delicious and tastes exactly as you want it to when you order your usual go-to lunch special. The broccoli is cooked but crisp, and the bits of pork in the pork fried rice are above average in flavor and size. Yes, going back.

Absolutely awful service! There is no order management system so the orders were not being processed appropriately. The restaurant told us originally an hour wait, turned into 2 hours with no discount. When we asked what happened, they said if we don’t pay full price they won’t serve us. Very rude, no customer service and the food is no different than any other Chinese restaurant you would go to. Not worth your money...

Very rude people and the food isn't even good ended up throwing away and going else where.

My family was craving Chinese take-out and had difficulty finding a place that was open due to many closures during COVID-19. Luckily Golden Bowl was open so we were very happy. They were very patient on the phone while we placed our order and asked many clarifying questions to make sure our order was accurate. We ordered some apps along with our meals. The crab rangoons were absolutely delicious and were STUFFED with the cream cheese and crab filling. The teriyaki beef app smelled and tasted like fish which was a little off-putting for us and we didn't end up finishing them (maybe they put fish sauce or something similar in the sauce I personally got the General Tso's combo plate and it was yummy, although it was mostly batter than chicken. My family enjoyed their combo plates as well. We ordered a large Chow Mein which provided a lot of gravy, but not enough noodles. We still have half the container full of gravy but no noodles left. I would not list this as my favorite Chinese restaurant, but I was very happy they came through when many places were closed.
