Contribute Feedback What The Stork Got L likes about Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters:
This puts Starbucks coffee to shame. I ordered an iced seven heaven latte and it might just be the best iced latte in all my travels. I also ordered a bright spot breakfast sandwich and was very pleased. There was more seating in the back and it wasn't too busy. At 8 AM. There was a small line but it moved fast. I easily found a place to sit. Don't miss this coffee shop if you're in Barrington. Parking was fairly eas... View all feedback.
What Charlie K doesn't like about Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters:
Anyone giving this place 5 stars either works there or has never been to an actual good coffee shop. This place is overpriced, their public WiFi is “too busy” to join, and they don’t know how to use gift cards for their own shop. How can you sell gift cards to customers and then not know how to charge the gift card at the register? Oh and I almost forgot… if you like flies roaming around your coffee than this is defi... Love this place, been going here for coffee pretty often through the years. Only gripe with this busy location is I’ve had my drink taken by other patrons by mistake before. Honest mistakes, but with how busy it can get it might be useful to take a name so there’s no mix ups. Will continue to come here in the future for sure
read moreVery nice atmosphere, intimate, clean, friendly staff, and nicely paced service. Multiple seating options. Bar stools, tables, comfortable leather batwing chairs in the back. It was raining that day so I didn't notice outside seating but it seems likely that a place of this type would offer that. Barista Dawn was very sweet, comptent, and prompt. All around pleased with the whole experience.
read moreFirst off the espresso here is excellent. I love it. Their espresso is high quality and wonderful no doubt about it. The store is also beautiful. However I am trying to figure out the pricing here. A large Iced Americano with 4 shots is $6.25. (Iced americano is espresso shots mixed with ice and water. An iced quad espresso (4 shots espresso directly over ice, no water oddly increases price to $7.05. 4 shots of espresso over ice for $7.05? This exact same beverage is $4.20 including tax at Starbucks. Before you crush me I am not comparing one coffee to another. I like both coffees. But paying almost double the cost here verses Starbucks for 4 espresso shots over ice will sadly reduce my visits here. Update 04/21/23: I made the mistake of coming back in here a few times and now I'm addicted to this place. I've told myself to man up and just work harder so I can earn more money to continue supporting my addiction here. Stars upgraded to 4. Would do 4.75 if I could. Staff is also rock solid.
read moreI went here to get a cup of coffee and work but ended up getting two! I had the honey bee latte first, a sweet and flowery drink. The second drink I had was the Golden Dreams turmeric, warm spices, coconut milk. Both were delicious! They also source sweets from local bakeries. They make their own syrups and ethically source all their coffees. They have other locations in the northern suburbs, and I will be seeking them out in the future. I still can’t get over the fact that they had coconut milk, my favorite. Many coffee shops I’ve gone to don’t. Looking forward to returning and trying new coffees and some of the baked goods!
