Wickie is on the day that I was really beautiful, the sun seemed, the service hopped, the football fans had a great time on the terrace, but above all my hand beer broken fish chips were absolutely delicious, house made tarter sauce, juicy lemon, an ice cold design beer! Service was slow like 45 mins from ordering till we got our food, only gave us one menu between the 2 of us, waited for waitress to ask if we needed a drink refill for about 10-15 mins, food was okay, the Philly steak sandwich definitely didn’t have tenderloin on it like the menu said, more like strip loin, And the cheese on the grilled cheese for the burger wasn’t melted. I haven’t been to wickies pub in 3 months . Went there today around 1pm to 230 pm. Had a sandwich and fries . Sandwich had a hair in it and the waiter said last time you two were here you didn’t leave a gratuity (tip) . We both were shocked she even said that . TO ME THAT IS RUDE ? . May never go back now . She had no right to asked that .
Although the food was good the outfits the female wait staff wear are offensive. I get the plaid but come on! I don't need to see t&a while I am having a meal. Are the male staff also scantily dressed?
We hosted a retirement party here and the staff went above and beyond. We had more guests than anticipated and the staff were so incredibly busy. However, they always had a huge smile and ensured that everyone was taken care of. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect. We thank you so much for making the evening such a success.
Lovely place to stop by after work for a quick dinner and a drink with friends. Great beers on tap, good selection. Cobb salad had fresh ingredients.
We attended an engagement party here and the staff were top notch! They were attentive and ensured we were all happy. The food was very good!
