Was Anonym at Escrow a mag?
This is a new establishment at Barrie's waterfront. It's a restaurant /lounge - expect modern furniture and style with music playing in the background. Food was decent. Tried wings, flatbreads, chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries. Drinks are good. This is a chill place to meet up for drinks and some nibbles. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Escrow:
The food is OKAY.. ordered a salad and the leaves were not crispy, my friend ordered the shrimp and it wasn't fresh, simply frozen and deep fried, the service is OKAY, and the attitude of the servers and the owners is just plain tacky and awful. Went there with a few girlfriends and were treated like ****, because we are middle aged maybe? The decor is tacky too. It just seems that the attitude in this place is "were... View all feedback.

Barrie's First Restolounge! Restaurant during the day, a lounge in the evening, social club by night with a dance floor!
A few of us decided to try this new and trendy RestoLounge after hearing about it on B101 and driving past it's beautiful waterfront patio. Right away we were greeted and taken to our reserved patio table by the hostess. The Server was over almost immediately to take our drink order and delivered our delicious cocktails in a timely fashion. We were in no hurry, as we were out to enjoy the evening, and our server remained attentive the entire visit. Our appetizer salads were delicious, and our entrees were cooked very well. Our group agreed that the spinach salad was our favourite appetizer while the stuffed chicken breast and the strip loin remain tied for best entree. (Other reviews are right, the sauce for this chicken is slightly too salty- but still a good addition to the plate). For dessert we were all happy to receive the Creme Brûlée and it was DELICIOUS. I will be back just for this! The Barrielicious menu appeared to have a little something for everyone, and we all left very happy. I have read the other reviews, and wonder if these people walked in as negative as they left... Because no one waits 50 minutes with absolutely NO service... And I highly doubt your appetizers took two hours to be served. Your reviews are spiteful, not helpful.
Absolutely terrible. We went for Barrielicious and I've never been so disappointed somewhere. The Brucetta wasn't even toasted - The cheese was processed mozzarella... The Dinner, when it eventually came 40 minutes later, had a nice Rotten Tomato garnish on top of my sandwich. Shame. Definitely won't be back.
My good friend and I decided to try the barrieliscious menu. We were greeted at the door and taken to our table quickly. The restaurant was quite full, but we still received our food within a reasonable time. We ordered cocktails that were highly recommended by our waitress and tasted amazing! The food was worth the wait and was cooked to perfection. I ordered the spinach salad to start (a little too much dressing) and then to follow, the steak (medium rare) and I couldn't have cooked it better myself. My friend ordered the asparagus stuffed chicken and we could tell that it was made by hand there. It was perfectly juicy and tender. The sauce was slightly salty, but it still added to the plate. We both had the creme brûlée to finish and couldn't have been happier. The only thing I wish could have been improved is that the creme brûlée was a bigger serving!! The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, and before leaving, we took a look on the patio; breathtaking views of the waterfront. I 100% recommend trying it for yourself.
My husband and I visited on Sunday for Barrielicious and loved everything! The service and food were spectacular. I don't know why I see such bad reviews on here. These guys are seriously what Barrie needed. Striploin was wonderful and the creme brule was the best I've ever had. Will be back for the good food and service and the perfect waterfront view!
