And I’ve had quite a few: Tilia (Minneapolis), Good Day Cafe (St. Louis Park), Zumbro Cafe (Linden Hills), Sara's Table (Duluth), and the list goes on... Living in the Twin Cities area gives me a huge variety, and while there are many amazing pancakes around here and beyond, I still think Lou's pancakes reign supreme! They’re a delightful combination of breakfast and dessert all in one. My advice is to heed Lou's menu suggestion and order just one—because what you’ll find in the center of a short stack is nothing short of heavenly. It’s the perfect pancake against which all others are measured! And these pancakes aren’t the only highlight; there's also Lou’s wonderfully quirky personality, Robin’s delightful apologies for Lou, and the rest of the great staff, including Amber, creating an unforgettable experience in Northern Minnesota! And if you miss out on the pancakes, don’t worry—the Speck Cheeseburger with Fritten is fantastic too! Sincerely, Matthew
