This charming cafe has a wonderful variety of cakes and serves excellent coffee at a reasonable price. The portions are generous and we even had some leftover cake to enjoy later. The service was fantastic and we felt genuinely valued and appreciated. View all feedback.
What KittySlicker doesn't like about The Loft:
It's such a shame that this cafe is above a nail/beauty salon because the smell of acrylic nails travels upstairs and it's not something that you want to smell when you're trying to enjoy lunch. The cafe itself and service is fine but the smell is really off putting. View all feedback.
Lovely cosy coffee shop with tasty selection of cake. had a lovely catch up with a friend on a damp miserable day. I can definitely recommend the Orange and Poppy seed cake, lovely and light. x

Definitely worth a visit. Great coffee and lovely fresh scones, very reasonable prices too! Ideal stop before the Pennine Trail next to Tescos.
