That is a fantastic caffe. good homemade food and fabulous cakes. the staff are very friendly and seem very good to work together, to make a nice atmosphere. I also like that it is a slim world friendly menu.
Great breakfast for good quality and lots of it. if the tee would be swapped for yorkshire tee would just be perfect!
Great food, reasonable prices and really friendly customer service. We'll be going again I'm sure. We've ordered takeaway before and never been disappointed by the food so it was lovely to visit in person and be equally impressed.
Went for lunch today at Coffee Thyme service was way too slow, over 30 minutes to get our food. People arrived after got they food before we did. Poor service, food was ok.
The second time, I didn't put myself on a break and after over an hour of waiting, I had to message them to remind them of my order. Although they read my message, there was no reply until they showed up at my door, apologizing for forgetting about me. The third time, I decided to order for collection and messaged them once I arrived. Despite waiting for 10 minutes outside, I received a message asking if I was coming to collect or not. I stayed outside to social distance during Covid, but no one checked on me the whole time. During this pandemic, I have been making an effort to support local businesses, but after these experiences, I will not be returning. My friend also had a bad experience when she witnessed a member of staff using their phone, handling money, and then touching food without washing their hands or wearing gloves. The food was average, but the prices were high. I was willing to pay extra to support a local business, but I did not receive anything extra in return.
