Visited the pub whilst my wife visited friends. Largish pub that is in desperate need of a refurbishment, that said the pub is clean and tidy. The barmaid with red hair was very pleasant and welcoming. The beer is not to my liking but at £2.80 was cheap enough. Large outside seating area looking out onto the road. View all feedback.
What Rachel B doesn't like about Lord Kitchener:
Should have known not to enter a pub with crappy posters on the doors saying, ‘Regulars only over the festive period.’ We thought it was a joke! Very festive, I must say!!! Not very welcoming so we walked out. Not like any McMullen pub I’ve ever been in. Dodgy carpet and unkempt steps. Enjoy so called ‘regulars.’ You’re welcome to it! View all feedback.
Very friendly walm atmosphere. 3 lovely lady behind the bar Sharon Rosie and Lauren who are more than happy to serve drinks and chat to customers. I would definitely recommend popping in for a drink.
Amazing day at the at the kich Best service from Rosie all full of smiles and joy and it's always in her company behind the bar x
