After hours of riding our motorcycles from southport to Barmouth, we arrived a little late for lunch. We walked around looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't standard fish chips. By chance we passed by Murrys cafe, the smell of delicious cakes/food and coffee wafting out of the door had me immediately hooked. So we took a chance and walked in. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and it's a great option for vegans and those with allergies. The menu is clearly labeled and the staff is knowledgeable. Dogs are welcome inside and it is a cash-only establishment.

It can be difficult to find vegan options in rural areas, but Murray's menu clearly indicates the available options. I tried the soup, which was very filling and satisfying, and was pleased to see that it was dairy-free. I also had the vegan brownie, which they warm up and was delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by Murray's when in the Barmouth area.
