Was Ken Adams at The Barnyard a mag?
I was camping nearby and stopped by for some coffee and two delicious pastries. The atmosphere was as warm and inviting as the staff. The people there are wonderful, and it has a cozy, homey vibe. I didn't want to leave after such a pleasant experience, and I hope to return soon. View all feedback.

What Joel Masters dislikes about The Barnyard:
I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, which reminded me of the chicken patties from high school lunch. I only chose this because they were out of two other items on the menu. The server was friendly and attentive, but aside from that, I wouldn't choose to come back. View all feedback.

Fish fry (I got battered and Ann got baked) were absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be getting the Friday night fish frys here from now on.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this restaurant; it truly feels like home. The location is easy to find, and the staff is amazing! The owner personally served us, and she absolutely guided us in the right direction. We ordered the chicken and biscuits, and as a city girl who has only ever enjoyed Bob Evans' biscuits and gravy, I can confidently say this dish was hands down the best! Everything is made from scratch, including the homemade biscuits, and just thinking about them makes me crave more! Plus, the chicken on top was crispy and seasoned to perfection. The prices are also very reasonable. If you haven't been here yet, you definitely need to stop by and experience a meal; it's absolutely worth it!
