My husband had the Orata alla griglia Grilled fish €16.50) which he said was his best meal of our holiday. I had not planned to have pizza, but the Romana €8.50), with its mushrooms, olives, peppers and artichoke hearts carciofi) was just too tempting and rightly so. I’d recommend also sharing a portion of chips €5), like we did. Portion sizes were good, but it was nice to have the variety, especially for my husband. He also helped with the pizza. The tables are oceanfront, and there was a sheltered section which was well lit, which would have been handy because it had rained earlier. Nevertheless, the staff didn’t mind us sitting at a table nearby, where we could see and hear the waves.

There are many waiters, b... read more We eat here every year and it is a pity that they do not much to improve. The bathrooms either do not work or are in a very bad state. There are many waiters, but they run around a bit clueless. Fish, Spigola with a salad was delicious. Fresh, and on offer on that day. We also had calamari fritti and they were rather on the chewy side. We ate with kids, and you pay also for a 2 years old a coperto, a service fee of 1.50 EUR. My kids of 2 and 4 years shared a portion of fries 4 EUR, and for them we had to pay additionally 1.5 EUR each. So in the end we paid for a portion of fries 7 EUR.

However, the waiting time is tremendous, and the broken locker in a toilet makes a big issue for visitors. Some nights the restaurant also organises karaoke, what’s super interesting and fun. Location is great, sea view is quite nice.

Amazing friend calamari too! Would be nice to have a more extensive wine list however house wine very drinkable. There seemed to only be one waitress serving and she did a great job and was lovely. Right on the beach so would love to try eat here during the daytime. Go to this place!
