I didn't find anything better so decided t... read more I strolled past this restaurant looking for somewhere a little more elegant even though this place did look inviting. I didn't find anything better so decided to try Kilometro Zero. This restaurant is a braceria where you can choose your own meats from the chilled display and which they will then cook to your requirements. Service was excellent and attentive, water arrived immediately as did various anti pasti bites. We were not given a menu but suggestions by the waiter were offered that sounded delicious so we went with the flow and were not disappointed. Apart from the anti pasti bites we were give the most delicious melanzane parmigiana, followed by various other dishes. Our primi was spaghetti con cozze (spaghetti with mussels) followed by veal fillet in a pepper sauce and vegetables, the steak was perfectly cooked, tasty and tender. This was followed by fresh fruit with gelato, a digestivo (gratis) and coffee at very reasonable price, wine included. I will definitely return.
