Description
Ivy Joyce is a charming wine bar located in Barham, Southern NSW by the tranquil Murray River. Our menu is inspired by our grandmothers, with dishes like haricot lamb chops, preserved peaches and ice-cream, and classic Sunday roasts with pudding. We offer a variety of small plates for grazing and a set weekend menu showcasing local produce. Feedback
The food was excellent, but the waitress's lack of experience meant she didn't advise us that we hadn't ordered enough. As a result, our group left feeling hungry. Additionally, the price of the wine was outrageously high—$18 for a glass is far too much. This pricing likely deterred us from spending more, as a house wine priced around $10 per glass or $40 per bottle would have encouraged more purchases. If that had been the case, you could have easily made an extra $30 per person, totaling an additional $120 for our group of four. To top it off, I was cold the entire evening, as I was seated under an air-conditioning vent and the heaters were not turned on.
The menu is beautifully curated, and every dish was outstanding in both flavor and presentation. We are fortunate to have such a talented chef in Barham. The food is perfect for sharing and offers excellent value for money.
