We usually eat elsewhere in Barham but wanted to try somewhere different. Will never again go here. Had only 1 lady serving meals and only behind the bar (bar lady was so overwhelmed) completely understaffed!!!!!! Also we were told no barramundi and heard someone ordering it 1 hr later ????

The children's chicken meal was outstanding, and both the barramundi and parmigiana mains were equally excellent, along with the side dishes. The service was prompt and courteous.

And while I can appreciate the fact That it was busy we did place our order at 1... read more Came in for a feed on Australia Day with my mum sister and 3 year old daughter. And while I can appreciate the fact That it was busy we did place our order at 12.30 with the staff in the bar. By 1.30 we still hadn’t received our meals. My sister went an approached the lady working working behind the bar and politely requested if she could check to see how long we had left till we Would be served only to be answered incredibly rude that it was busy and they would come out when ready. She returned back to our table where we waited another 20 minutes then I decided to approach the bar and speak to the younger gentleman working and asked to please check the kitchen for our meals as it’s been close To 2 hours since we had ordered. I explained I understood it was busy however it was taking a long time only to again be dismissed rudely and told it would come when ready. I returned back to the table where we managed to flag down the lovely lady who seemed to be the only one running meals to ask if she could check for us only to be told the kitchen didn’t have our order. So our order had either not been sent or lost. She asked what we had ordered and within 5 minutes our order was on the table. I can’t stress enough how lovely she was. The bar staff however had only checked with the kitchen on our first request after waiting an hour an a half this could have been avoided. The food was pretty good so I can’t knock that however the bar staff need to be more accommodating to customers when approached with a problem. Clearly under staffed for a public holiday such as this maybe some forward planning on the appropriate amount of staff that’s need for a public holiday such this.
