We stopped by for a snack and a drink while in Barcelos. We enjoyed a snack and a drink, and ended up meeting a Portuguese couple. We had veal in the oven and ri... read more We made reservation for this lovely restaurant. (Specially on weekends it 's recommendable) The traditional cuisine is excellent. We had veal in the oven and rice with rooster. As an entree I opted for the 'Papas de sarrabulho ' (it 's pig blood soup with rice and plenty of meat) As great as my mother used to cook it, heavenly. The wine was also smooth and good for the food. They actually have quite a wine collection to choose from. It is a family business and we have been received warmly and with all the attention possible.
