The ambiance is magnificent, especially if you can get a view into the kitchen, which is bustling with good energy. The sommelier was also essentially clairvoyant, which was a treat. Two were inedible—the roasted lettuce and the local price... read more Didn’t live up to the glowing reviews, at least not for me. Three of the five dishes I had were awful. Two were inedible—the roasted lettuce and the local pricey green beans were unbelievably salty. Like undesalinated sea water. I can’t I imagine that’s how they were supposed to taste. Would expect the chef or sous chef to taste the sauces before serving, no? The scallop dish was served in a tart, watery sauce; no nuance, just sour. On the positive side the asparagus dish was delish, as was the wine. Great service and ambiance.
